 When we aren’t volunteering our time and service to the community of New Vernon, we are office workers, realtors, landscapers, teachers, nurses, accountants, housewives, restaurateurs, retirees, and much more,
... FireFighters. To achieve this certification, we attend an initial classroom instruction of 110 hours, along with a 10 hour hands on session in a local emergency room. In order to maintain our certification, we each must attend 48 hours of ongoing classroom and practical instruction every 3 years.
... Emergency Medical Technicians. To achieve this certification, we attend an initial classroom instruction of 110 hours, along with a 10 hour hands on session in a local emergency room. In order to maintain our certification, we each must attend a minimum of 48 hours of ongoing classroom and practical instruction every 3 years.
